PLEASE READ: Hi friends! Please scroll to the end (skip the HK trip part if you must) hehe ;D Thank you in advance!
Actually I’m just going to mainly be talking about the HK trip so yeah…
But I’ve other stuff to crap about, hence the title.
I’m good at this naming-my-new-blogpost crap.
ANYWAY hello friends! ;)
It has been a while – honestly it didn’t feel that long to me – and I’m back to crap about my life.
First and foremost, happy Chinese New Year!
Really delayed there, considering it’s Day 6 already.
But if you’re my friend on Twitter (follower sounds stupid), then you’d have received plenty of love from me over the past few days.
Made that because Chinese characters cannot appear on my blog. Really need to disclaim this in every single post. Hahahha.
If you’re reading this, you’re probably:
- a nice friend who likes to read my blog (you top this list)
- a nice friend who hates to read my blog but reads it anyway
- a friend who’s bored during all that bai-nian stuff
- a friend who’s bored because you’re just rotting your butt at home counting angbao money
- a friend who just came across this crap coincidentally
- a stranger
Okay nonsense aside let’s begin!
Warning: It’ll be long and there’ll be plenty of pictures. So if you’re allergic to pictures/words, you know what to do (this statement is useless I have no idea what I’m trying to say)
Okay wait just going to slot these two pictures in because I like them.
First (and second last) CNY celeb in HC – managed to snap this picture before running off home to prep to go for airport. (Credits to Gwyneth who doesn’t have a GC HAHAHAHAHA)
Pepper lunch. Not the most flattering considering it’s been eaten, but I really dig it. So good when it’s hot and burning and smokin’.
Let me present to you this greenish picture! Before entering the departure gates……….
Okay I’m really going to move on to the big deal now.
First thing when we arrived: “reunion dinner” at Maxim’s.
Wanton noodles which were not too bad!
Okay you know what I’m just going to post the pictures I like more because formatting is driving me cray cray.
Gateway hotel lobby! With CNY decoration :)
Hotel room was humongous and really nice whoop whoop.
Because we went on to catch Du Cheng Feng Yun afterwards at 1140, the shopping centre was basically empty.
Mum took this from Level 2. Do not judge.
Basically how it looks like on Level 1!
On the way to the cinemas – lantern display :) Later on there’ll be pictures of it during the day!
Popcorn! ;) (Surprise surprise – only time I ate out of the 3 movies we caught. Achievement unlocked.)
How a HK cinema looks like. No actually only this one. THE SCREEN WAS MASSIVE. And beautiful and amazing and everything nice. This was my favourite cinema. ;_;
By the way Du Cheng Feng Yun is my favourite CNY movie this year.
Super duper funny and lame. And theres Chow Yun Fat and Nicholas Tse (Xie Ting Feng) wahoooooooo. And Chapman Toh and his ridiculous acting. Even though there were gruesome bits I think this movie tops my list of He Sui Pians for the year.
Light show rehearsal for the next day – it was already 1+ am so there wasn’t many people on the streets.
That’s it for Day 1!
Woke up considerably early the next day, since I shousui-ed until about 3am. Then we woke up at 9am.
Breakfast at a Macau Cafe. Heheh. Satay Beef noodles with milk tea! Yumyum. But Tsui Wah one was better!
Do you see Chi Kei? It’ll be coming up in the post really soon!
This is how the the interior of a typical MTR (train) looks like hahahaha. We were on our way to Tung Chung – Lantau Island! (Mentioned this in one of my 10DBC posts about places)
We reached! Lots of premium outlets here (pretty expensive brands on a permanent sale)
Met this loving individual on my hunt for wifi! Found it funny.
Up the cable car in this photo here! (when my sister almost peed in her pants, probably hahahaha)
With my momma.
Do not be cheated by how composed she looks. HAHAHAHAHAH!!
You can see a bit of the Buddha over there on your left!
The little marketplace-like place below the Buddha!
Was really windy that day!
PDA is definitely my thing. HAHAHAH. No la. But I blew this photo up.
By the way I stole my sister’s cap for the trip.
My mum the little copycat.
On the way down!
Really pretty view :)
I like to pretend to be cool.
After that, we moved on to Sky100! (At Elements Shopping Mall at Kowloon)
Super duper pretty. Fifth tallest building in the world!
Was there until sunset ^-^
It was really tough trying to avoid the reflection of the camera/people behind the glass!!
When we returned to hotel (ate congee that night at Zheng Dou restaurant), we continued the photo spree at a nearly empty Harbour City.
Macaron display for Pierre Hermé!
As seen on my Instagram.
Boxes were super pretty. (HK & Paris Landmarks)
See that super bulky bag I’m carrying?
Tada! Look what’s inside :)
One of my best buys.
Hahaha. Basically long story short, I got it at a discounted price. Which was pretty damn worth it. Saved at least 150 HKD. (~25 SGD)
I’ve always loved miniature stuff a lot (excluding cakes though, never really fancied them a lot because they’re readily available, unlike the kind in the picture above.) and there are two super cute items?
Not sure if you can see, but at the second row, the sets on the left and right respectively has a SUPER TINY tomato sachet and a Happy Meal toy (ladybug in a little plastic bag thing).
Super super super super cute. HAHHAHAHAHAHA. Love ‘em all. And you can see the pepsi and 7-up as well!
That’s basically end of Day 2.
From now onwards it doesn’t matter which day is which, because OH WELL. Hahahaha.
Categories instead, will work better.
There was a firework display thingum on 1 Feb and it was incredible!
Took 10 years to actually reach the observation deck because of a sneaky security guard -_-
My mum snapped this one!
Look at the crowd!
Actually… pictures aren’t important. You’ll know why in a while!
But the fireworks were really pretty and lasted pretty damn long.
Hehehe my favourite HK brand. Which is now available in SG at Bugis? Hahaha.
Those pictures came from two different outlets!
Agnes B. Cafe
Drank the most amazing Chocolate Chip Frappe over here. Still melting thinking about it.
Really. It has a lot of chocolate bits plus the drink itself really tastes like chocolate. Not some diluted nonsense.
Sister’s what-the-poopoo-is-that drink.
Do not be deceived by the looks of the chocolate cake. (Sister snapped those two photos)
I got so carried away I forgot to snap a picture of the main dish. Then I devoured it. I was hungry.
You can see how the food actually looks like in my previous HK post. Just search at the sidebar! :)
Hahaha my favourite-st place. Just let the pictures talk to you.
THIS CRAB PORRIDGE IS TO DIE FOR
(Remaining) Movie Reviews
GOLDEN CHICKEN SSS
IT WAS SO FUNNY. It’s rated M18 is SG cinemas but nothing in HK hahhhaha.
Star-studded cast whoop whoop and produced by Sandra Ng!
Really enjoyed it a lot but the experience was made worse by this inconsiderate dude.
Okay lets just say the lousy cinema had a part to play.
It was pretty crappy. But somehow it got the highest rating??? (Ignoring Police Story 2013, which was apparently crap as well)
Expected quite a bit because there was Fiona Sit, Ronald Cheng, Sandra Ng and Karena Ng but…..
Blatant advertising for Lukfook Jewellery and Seahorse Mattress. (As blatant as The Lion Men’s advertising – just caught that yesterday)
Btw caught them all in HK because it’ll be in Cantonese – in SG they’ll translate it to Chinese! So it’ll lose the funny funny parts.
That’s all for the trip ;) Hehehehehe!
Actually I have so much more to actually say, but that’ll have to do.
To summarize, here’s a little video I made (again).
Lousy editing for fireworks part BUT WHATEVER AINT NOBODY GOT TIME TO MAKE IT PERFECTTTTTTTTTT.
^ watch in HD! :)
Before I leave though, I have a little special thing to say.
My batch and I will be performing at the following event:
It’d be really really nice if you guys could pop by :)

Still have so many things to do T.T
That shall be all of today!
I was going to pour my heart and soul out about some sentimental matters but thats a pretty long post for you guys so I’ll keep that for the future ;)
