Happy September Holidays (or not, hahaha) :)
Today’s post (similar to most of the posts this year) will consist of mostly pictures – basically from where I last stopped.
Promos in less than 20 days and here I am, publishing another post.
These posts take longer to put together than they look okay haha.
I have so many things to say, but I don’t know where to begin.
This is going to be pretty messy, so enjoy this bumpy ride!!
And btw Rude is currently my favourite song. So applicable. So lovely. So catchy. HAHAHA.
#1 Nanyang Homecoming Fair
16 August…… hahaha. Dropped by Nanyang for a short while to help out at the Alumni booth!!
In the morning when I walked the familiar route to Nanyang, the first person I saw was Jiemin sitting at the bus-stop creepily with many bags of dubious-looking things. Then out of curiosity I asked her what on earth were those stuff and she said she had “an outing later with family” or something like that. When I say dubious – it really means LARGE bags of clothes (or things that look like clothes). Didn’t think much of it at the moment!!
Then throw in a few fugitive glances between my batchmates and there you have it – a random birthday celebration hahahaha I LOVE THESE PEOPLE.
Thank you for this super cute onesie – sleepover after Promos.
#2 NACLI Camp
The next weekend was spent with 30th ExCo at NACLI… Honestly wasn’t looking forward to it with the sudden surge of quizzes/lecture tests, but it was still pretty fun!! Especially the night spent there – card games and dares. ;) Learnt a few things and made a few friends!
#3 MAF @ HC
Popped by a while to creepily watch council performance/GLU, and basically here’s my collage on Instagram.
Thank you 41st Council for putting in all the hard work :) It was a successful event!
#4 TDC @ HC
Day itself was well-spent with the best of people :) But before that here are a few pictures!!
Not sure if he’s too fast or too slow or just completely wrong HAHA
With CT Mr Tan :)
With the most patient teacher Mdm Low!
With Mr Sunshine hahah Mr Ng :)
With Mr Wee! :)
Oh no I think the photo with Ms Tay is on her phone…… oh well. ><
With my favourite crazy girls who are into benzene rings and mulan’s guy
Great day out with these people I dearly miss!! Watched Step Up All In (without popcorn) and had lunch at The Ship. Meaningful afternoon with the best people. Oh and bought a matching $7.50-per-side shoe with my liannybaby who probably already hates that name.
Thank you for the great day babes <3
#5 Class GEMS
Honestly wasn’t too excited for a day out in the sun, especially when the last time I cycled was eons ago (and not to forget the first time I cycled, I knocked a dude down till he bled) but that day turned out super fun.
Was Clair’s birthday as well – happy (belated) birthday Clair!! :)
Isabel took this I think!!
Collage on Instagram with the class’ girls, esp middle one my favourite.
And more pictures!!
Super nice photo?? But Isabel isn’t in it – not sure if its nice because she took it or because she’s not in it.
Btw we did NOT ride that thing – uncle chased us off after photo-taking ceremony.
Proof that we did all ride bicycles!!
And I think we rode all the way to Changi or something!
Frightening selfie of the lazy eating group – neither playing frisbee nor taking photos actively
Class photo!! Birthday celebration for kiddos whose birthdays were on July-Sep :)
Wind was blowing too damn hard hahah.
Please look at me stare at Yuhao (I have no idea why I was staring at him either)
Class photo with me baring my forehead to the world.
Kenny looks like a course instructor.
Like a great caption would be “Conquered 5D4N Sports Adventure! Thank you Kenny for making this course fun and enjoyable!”
You have no idea how many pictures were taken before this came out. Yuhao burden but great picture all the same!! Isabel was jumping facing backwards!!
My shoes are not that much of a height-booster as they look. Trust me.
Was creepily watching this little girl do her thing :) :) :)
Until her family left.
On our way back we found Tao Nan in this state of demolishment!
Looking forward to the end product of this renovation :)
We met 10 years ago w0w0w0w0w0w
Thereafter we went to Sports Hub! Had dinner with FBN’s fam and ate this beautiful plate of goodness.
Oh and before that check out the view!
Doesn’t look too impressive but looks better in real life :)
Ended the day with The Four (III)!
It was an amazing film series – love Liu Yifei and cast.
I love it.
#6 Things that make me VERY VERY happy
This is the insert-chapalang zone.
Entire post feels quite half-assed but I’m quite happy while typing this :)
And typed way too many “:)”s in this post but truly what I’m feeling!!
Anyway there was this day where there was a guy (Kelda’s classmate) who brought this hugeass lovely amazing beautiful Frozen balloon to Chemistry Lecture and it was love at first sight for me.
Came up with various plans to steal it from him, but it was his birthday, and it’s rude to steal so I left it at that.
When lazing in bed after dinner with my mum while scrolling through IG, there was this other female instaceleb who instagrammed the same balloon!! Told my mum it was amazing and I really wanted it (obv thinking no one would bother to get it for me anyway) but when I came home from school the next day:
I love my mum too much.
It came along with this lovely handmade card.
Had (still have) an obsession with Little Groot from GoG.
Thank you mummy for being the best mum anyone can ever have. You’re the cutest and sweetest little poochiepie. Kiss kiss.
And other food-related dingdongs along the way for your viewing pleasure:
This is my FAVOURITE fish bee hoon. Even without Ikan Bilis it rocks your socks.
Kim Wah @ Old Airport <3
Korean Food not my style but this was great.
Clair got me these wonderful gems from her trip to UK for Reach Cambridge!!!!!!!!!
Randon mega huge piece of Oheya (Seaweed Flavour) that I found the need to take a picture of.
One of my newest additions to my miniature collection!!!!!!!!
I love it.
This Japanese seller had amazing service + gave random free gifts. :)
Okay guys that’s about it for today’s post!
All pretty superficial without deep insights, e.g. meaningful CommServe sessions or pep talk for promos, but that’ll come soon.
One day I must dedicate a post to the kids at CommServe because they’re all so special in their own ways, even the naughtiest of the bunch.
And this is likely to be the last post before Promos, so if you’re reading this and its applicable, jiayou and all the best!!
17 days left – you can do it.
One step towards making your day productive is to move your cursor to the “x” at the right-hand side up there, or the red dot at the left-hand side up there, or the home button down there.
That sounds strange.
But yes, have a fruitful holiday – work well, rest well and stay happy and healthy.
Actually just telling that to myself, but yes.
(P.S. Do NOT diss my Chrome filter. I love it.)
(P.P.S. Some photos of different sizes because they look scary entirely blown up)
